Cross Border BtoC EC Site Introduction Example

"Managing sales on eBay across different countries is complex and often leads to shipping errors. To boost sales and reduce mistakes, we aim to build our own e-commerce website and integrate it with eBay."

This extension allows you to centrally manage all eBay orders directly from Magento. It also syncs product data between Magento and eBay, so you can register and update products on Magento without logging into eBay. Multiple eBay stores and your Magento store can be fully integrated and managed from one Magento dashboard.

Our products are priced in Australian dollars. To accommodate daily exchange rate fluctuations, we display equivalent prices in Japanese yen and US dollars. To minimize foreign currency settlement fees, we've customized our system to convert Australian dollar transactions into yen before processing payments through our Japanese settlement agent.

BtoC EC Site Introduction Example for Japan

"We've chosen Magento for our e-commerce platform. However, our intended vendor lacks Magento experience. Given our business model involves direct deliveries from approximately 300 stores, we seek guidance on effectively utilizing Magento to support this structure."

Instead of creating separate websites for each store, we utilized Magento's multi-store functionality to integrate all 300 stores within a single Magento environment. This setup allows all stores to share the same product information while managing individual inventories and orders, eliminating the need to maintain separate product data for each site and significantly enhancing operational efficiency.

Given the extensive product catalog and customer base, we implemented caching solutions like CDN and Redis, along with ElasticSearch, to improve performance and search capabilities.

We integrated Magento with an external map service by appending store attributes to the URL, enabling the display of products specific to each store. The menu adapts based on brand, region, and time—showing options like lunch or dinner menus accordingly. Instead of developing a native app or PWA, we embedded Magento's full functionality within a mobile app using WebView, ensuring a consistent and comprehensive user experience.

We enhanced our Magento store with two key extensions to improve product discovery and increase sales:
Multi-Attribute Filtering: We implemented a layered navigation extension that allows customers to filter products by multiple attributes simultaneously. This feature enables users to refine their searches based on various criteria, such as size, color, and price, making it easier to find products with specific specifications.
Cross-Selling Recommendations: To boost sales through cross-selling, we introduced a "Who Bought This Also Bought" extension. This tool analyzes purchase histories to automatically suggest related products that other customers have purchased together. By displaying these recommendations on product and cart pages, we effectively increased cross-selling opportunities and overall sales. These enhancements streamlined product navigation and leveraged customer behavior insights to drive additional purchases
